Craig Kimbrel has a 5.91 ERA in the postseason and the Red Sox are still one game away from the WS win.

They had a 4-0 lead and their pitcher was throwing a one hitter. That’s a game teams should win. Once Dave Roberts started thinking, everything turned sour.

It’s 5:30am in LA and Dave Roberts just called to the bullpen again.

If not for Kinsler's error...McBroom I guess we should have expected this, after all, it the Dodgers were in the AL East, they would be fighting the Rays for third place.

He’s come up pretty small in the POs. I used to think he was a cinch to become a Yankee. Now, despite the Didi situation, Hal may punt on him. I don’t think we can win with a stop gap SS so maybe the real championship caliber team is still 1-2 years away unless Didi can somehow not only come back, but be the same guy he was this season. That’s a lot to ask.

PUNK...I’ve been saying that for a couple of years. He looks like a punk, he acts like a punk. I’m most certain that though I’ve never been close to him, he smells like a punk. He certainly plays like a punk. I wish teams would avoid him like the punk that he is. What a great example that would be for other punks. Quit being a punk if if you want to reach your potential and earn the big bucks...

I don’t think we can win with a stop gap SS so maybe the real championship caliber team is still 1-2 years away unless Didi can somehow not only come back, but be the same guy he was this season. That’s a lot to ask. The Yankees can still thrive without Didi, as long as the SS position remains above average defensively (Hechevarria) and if there isn't a repeat of so many key players being injured (Judge, Hicks, Montgomery, Drury, Frazier, Chapman, Kahnle) or slumping monumentally (Sanchez, Bird, Walker). I expect both Torres and Andujar to improve defensively next year, which can only help. And, I don't expect sophomore slumps for either player offensively. Walker and Bird can only be helped by a full (and healthy) Spring training, and competition between Bird and Voit could provide improvement for both. Pitching, as usual, (especially starting) is the key. Signing Eovaldi and Corbin to free agent contracts is a good start. I'd like to see both Happ and Sabathia resigned, as well as Britton and Robertson. I expect Severino's pitch-tipping to be fixed by next season, too. As long as there is not a return of Shane Robinson, Chasen Shreve, or AJ Cole...Hechevarria's bat can be weathered. Lastly, Boone will have his first year out of the way. Let's hope he learned something.

On the biggest stage, Machado is definitely coming up small, his agent has to be cringing watching his client act make a fool of himself on multiple occasions.
