14 years ago, I had my worst moment as a Yankee fan watching in person at Game 7 of the 2004 ALCS as Boston blew us out and completed the comeback after trailing 3 games to none. Tomorrow, we will begin our revenge! Yankees/Red Sox, the biggest rivalry in sports! Should be one hell of a time!

Sale gets the start but with his arm strength questionable, our old friend Elvodia will be available in relief. Let's knock them both around!

Game 4 of the 2004 ALCS was worse for me as Arod missed a sac fly that would have ended the series right then.
Game 7 of the 2001 WS when Rivera threw the ball into CF was as bad as it got.

Wow. Greg Bird has fallen off the face of the earth. I’m up at 630am Singapore time, coffeed up and ready tomorrow. My wife has already told me that the bedroom tv is out of bounds. I’m downstairs with the dog and the aquarium and the big tv. Fucking good times guys....😎

And yeah, who would have guessed even a few weeks ago -- maybe even a few days ago -- that Stephen Tarpley would be on the ALDS roster and Greg Bird would not. Carrying 12 pitchers -- I was hoping they would hold it to eleven. But hey, I'm just glad they're still playing.

[img alt=" " src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/udcwFqPimnXDtjoTmoVL.gif" class="smile"] Kay, you are the King of Photoshop! Concur on that, Rizz. One of the best things about this site. One of my favorites is the one with Cashman and -- was it Hicks? -- each with a straw sharing an ice cream soda.

Game 4 of the 2004 ALCS was worse for me as Arod missed a sac fly that would have ended the series right then. Game 7 of the 2001 WS when Rivera threw the ball into CF was as bad as it got. I remember thinking after the game five loss that it looked like a serious chance the Yanks were going to blow it. After the game six loss, I knew it was over, I hardly watched any of game seven. I have been watching the Yankees since the 1950s, and the absolute most painful moments (on the playing field at least) were Luis Gonzalez 's bloop hit in 01 and Bill Mazeroski's HR in 1960. Two very winnable rings thrown away. The 2004 collapse was more of a slow death. I still haven't determined which is worse, but they're all bad. But the good moments more than compensate. I'm feeling optimistic about this one. We'll find out early on how it goes with Sale. If he isn't pretty close to his normal capability, Boston is in trouble.

I wish I had more skills like a true professional. Pipps, you're right it was Hicks and Cashman. Here it is:
