Alright Ive got Rose, Woods, Spieth, and Paul Casey. The value on Jords is just too good to pass up, even as poorly as he is playing. I dont think Tiger is going to win but always have to throw a couple bucks on him. I only wagered $100 total, a far cry from DoMe's bankroll!

Well, some of those old guys we were reminiscing about pretty much put themselves out of it on day one. Couples at 6 over, Woosnam at 8 over and Cabrera at 10 over are bringing up the bottom three so far. Although Sandy Lyle, who won The Masters in 1988, is one under through nine.
Tiger looking pretty good so far.

Great first day in Augusta. Koepka is a certifiable majors beast. He's won three of the last six and is off to a roaring start in this one. DeChambeau looking strong too. Likewise Dustin Johnson.
Phil with a solid Thursday. Typical Mickelson. Tee shot into a pothole in the parking lot behind a stand of 150 foot pine trees. Second shot through a six inch gap in the trees to within five feet of the cup.
Tiger in the mix. Spieth continues his funk. Joe -- Rose and Casey slow out of the gate for you.
I notice that ESPN doesn't use the canned birds singing in the background like CBS does on the weekends.

It’s mildly surprising that Augusta National’s racist history hasn’t harmed the tournament significantly. Sometimes I get embarrassed at how late the NY Yankees were to accept a black MLB player. Yet, good old Augusta never had a black player until Lee Elder set foot on the property in the 1985 Masters and was still barring blacks from membership when Tiger Woods qualified for the tournament. Tradition can be a beautiful thing, but it can also have an ugly flip side... |

Put Casey in my fantasy lineup. Day and Woods looking good for me so far. Lots of golf left to play though! |
