Thank you for sharing! Don't forget to provide a blow by blow review. I had no idea there was a graft of a mandarin and a cumquat tree. We had two cumquat trees at my family home - always had a pocket full of them to snack on. I actually liked them before they were ready - the tartness was wonderful. My sister thinks l am weird because I can eat limes like an orange. The smoked cheesecake tickles my fancy. I often thought about making a smoked crawfish cheesecake - not for dessert.

Thats awesome you had kumquat trees at your family home. I have never actually tried one to my recollection. You can eat limes like an orange? Aren't they too tart and bitter? A smoked crawfish cheesecake sounds interesting. I don't know how those flavors would mix, but I'd be down to try it.

I love most anything citrus and enjoy tartness, which is why as a kid on the rare occasion to access candy I often chose SweetTarts, Smarties, Mike & Ike's, Lemon Drops, Spree, Skittles, Runts, Nerds, Jolly Ranchers, Pixy Stix, Fun Dip, any gummy/jelly candies, Airheads, Warheads, Lemonheads, Sour Patch Kids, etc. Every now and then, I would opt for a chocolate bar or peanut M&Ms. Sarah was the chocolate fiend in our house.

That was great too.

That was great too. I think I only had Big League chew a couple of times. When I was about eight or nine, my brother showed me a photograph from a college text book of a guy’s teeth and gums after years of chewing tobacco. That was all I needed to see. I went with the standard double bubble seen in baseball dugouts! Seeing the movie Jaws at ten years old had a similar effect on my future reluctance to go in the ocean. Very impressionable lad.

Just like I got all of her mushrooms, sausage, and olives from pizza 🍕.

Oh to be young again on Halloween day. We would take a giant garbage bag, collect all the candy, trade our loot, and then have a stomach ache the next day.

My good friend and neighbor lived in Korea for years and is married to a Korean woman. We get invited to dinner on a regular basis and haven't had anything that didn't taste amazing. When I die I want to buried in pork belly. Can't wait to hear your review.

In fact, I am still craving Korean fried chicken we discussed a couple days ago. I had a Japanese friend who refused to eat at any sushi 🍣 🍱 restaurant with a Korean chef. Sushi chefs had to be Japanese or he wouldn’t go.

I had a Japanese friend who refused to eat at any sushi 🍣 🍱 restaurant with a Korean chef. Sushi chefs had to be Japanese or he wouldn’t go. The only thing I really know about Korean food is that godawful odor of Kimchee… that killed it for me. But chicken is chicken, and I like Chinese chicken. I’ve had and enjoyed Cambodian chicken despite the presence of the head, and the horizontal slicing that tended to give every one a mixture of white and dark meat…
