Scored a reservation at the famous Don Angie's for Monday in West Village NYC. I'll report back on the food.

Don Angie’s was really good. For appetizer had the stuffed garlic flatbread, good but nothing otherworldly, and the chrysanthemum salad, which was amazing. The best dishes were the pastas: the SORPRESINE & SMOKED MUSSELS and the SOURDOUGH PASTA CACCIATORE. Both were melt in your mouth delicious. Then we had the veal de pepi which was a little dry but tasty nonetheless with a side of Japanese sweet potatoes. Finished with the tiramisu, a classic desert you can’t go wrong with. Unfortunately we couldn’t have their most famous dish, the lasagna for two, since it has pork in it. Overall a solid B+ meal. Would go again.
I should be home to catch the end of todays game but with the new pitch clock I might not. 😃

First post in this thread in a long time, since early April. My time with Stubb’s original BBQ sauce was short. I’ve switched to Stubb’s Spicy, with habanero added to the original recipe…
Also, I found a nice chip to munch on. Old El Paso brand Fiesta Twist Queso. I think it’s the paprika that makes me want them…

I went to the grocery store today and picked up a couple of beautiful steaks that we cooked in our new air fryer (our old one died).
We cooked them to MEDIUM all pink, probably more on the medium well than medium rare, and we enjoyed them immensely. I’m getting to be such a big boy… 🤓

I went to the grocery store today and picked up a couple of beautiful steaks that we cooked in our new air fryer (our old one died). We cooked them to MEDIUM all pink, probably more on the medium well than medium rare, and we enjoyed them immensely. I’m getting to be such a big boy… 🤓 Congratulations, Inger. Next, you'll be considering Beef Tartare and Carpaccio.

I don’t think they were full fledged medium well. More like medium slightly well. Had the blood lime juice on the plate… Did they taste better to you or are you still a well done guy? They were quite good. I’m probably a convert. Maybe theirs still hope for some born-again Christian to make me a notch on their belt? Nah. That’s going too far. I’ve already survived 37 raptures and a couple of ruptures…
