Heads up guys, I am taking a trip the city and will be away from Sunday to Tuesday. Someone keep an eye on inger.
We're going to Jeju Noodle Bar one night, a Korean Restaurant. Let me know if anyone has tried it before.
Another night we're making a return trip to Francie in Brooklyn. The dry aged crown of duck was so good, we had to go back.
We took a picture of the duck before they cut it:
Be good and I'll see you guys Tuesday night!

So kaybli, let’s hear it. How were those jejunes? Delicious? Meanwhile us regular folks were eating hotdogs and beans, canned spaghetti, spam burgers and whatever wriggly things we can find under leaf litter…

Nothing special. I guess Ramen or the Ramyun with Wagyu I had is just noodles so it can never be that spectacular. The duck at Francie was incredible again. A must go for anyone who dines in the city.

A must go for anyone who dines in the city. I haven't had any food from Francie yet, but that duck looks absolutely delicious. I know the area, Francie is about 2 blocks away from one of my favorite restaurants (Peter Luger's). And, not that far away from one of my favorite Italian restaurants (Bamonte's).
Now, I'm dreaming about a day when I can have duck from Francie, steak from Peter Luger's, Chicken Francese from Belmonte's, then take the Williamsburg bridge over to Manhattan for Pizza at Lombardi's, all in the same day. Mmmmm. I made myself hungry and I just ate lunch.

I love Luger’s of course but we found that Wolfgangs in Manhattan (they have different locations) has about 95 percent the quality without all the hassle of getting a tough reservation and going all the way to Brooklyn. They have almost the same exact menu too as it was started a former Luger employee. We still go to Lugers sometimes but if we need steak in a pinch it’s usually Wolfgangs now. I have to try the chicken francese from Belmonte’s. That sounds delicious!

I like the bread and the steaks not bad for a chain restaurant. You could do worse than Texas Roadhouse. Just don't order your steak well done like you like to do.

You can always try Outback Steakhouse, mate. Now we're talking fancy cuisine.

We used to have Sizzler but it went out of business. I used to actually enjoy the buffet as a kid. Black Angus is a West Coast thing. They're not here in Jersey/NYC.
Here's a list of steakhouses I've been to in NYC off the top of my head (Mostly Manhattan):
-Peter Luger's -Keen's -Old Homestead
-Club A -Sparks -Quality Meats -Del Frisco's -Strip House -BLT Prime -Wolfgang's -Porter House -Bowery Meat Company -Delmonico's
