Not a bad way to go out!
Any favorite chicken wing joints in particular?
Gloria and I are pet sitters, and we don't often cook in other people's homes, so we get a lot of takeout. We have a grocery store here in Burlington that makes pretty good ones. Also, a place called Wings Over Burlington that rocks. When I make my own, I like chili garlic with a little sweet soy. Sounds delicious. Takeout is the way to go for me. Though I wish I could cook like rizzuto . I have to learn one day.

Isn't it sad how the what used to be the cheapest cuts of meat (oxtail, short ribs, chicken wings) are now just as expensive as anything else?

Every home I have owned had to have a gas stove. Now that I am living in an apartment, it is those stupid glass top stoves. Can't stand them. Impossible to regulate the heat.

Malt-O-Meal, the complaint that makes the cheap bagged cereal at Wal Mart makes one hellaciously good s’mores cereal… Whats it a knock off of? Yes, and no. Malt-O-Meal has quietly become a pretty big brand. But there is a big brand that makes a s’mores flavor (I forget who) that we’ve tried and we like the Malt-O-Meal better…

They are rather tasty and a good value as I seem to recall. I went to Trader Joe’s once and found out the hard way that my wife is heavily influenced by advertising. She was afraid of the stuff I bought. Now, with inflation I’ve switched a lot of our stuff to store brands and she’s been fine with most of it. Nearest Trader Joe’s to this remote outpost? 106 miles, in Colorado Springs. Oops! Just realized I changed wives since then… 😂😂

Kaybli, I've been meaning to ask you if you've ever had licorice ice cream? I've only seen it once and that was back in the 60's at the Chocolate House in Holmes Beach, Fla. It was great, but licorice is one of those polarizing foods and may not be liked by many people.
