A goad recipe for French onion soup comes from Julie Child. I only made it about 4-5 times. It takes an entire day to make it. Thus the reason why it's only on special occasions in the wintery months where I'm motivated to make it. From roasting beef bones to simmering the stock for about 5 hours with herbs. Follow with caramelizing onions ( As I recalled about 50-60 mins) deglazed with brandy/vermouth. Entire procedures takes over 7 hours. So a great bowl of onion soup with a thick slice of toasted bread loaded with melty Gruyere cheese is worth the price if you can find it. Sounds delicious! My brother made French onion soup for me once from scratch and it beat just about any restaurant! I am a big French onion soup fan, but onions do not like me. I pay whenever I eat onions. So it's only certain times i risk it, like real good French onion soup or top notch onion rings.

I bought the ninja creami over 7 months ago and never unboxed it. As I bought many pounds of peaches. Prepping them for the freezer in hopes of making clobbers/pies in the months ahead. It was a good time to utilize peaches making ice cream on labor day. Needless to say, it was creamy and delicious. I see this piece of equipment being dangerous in the months ahead thinking of interesting combinations.
