Sounds good, Inger. I think you would enjoy Cimarron. Plenty of places to disappear. I wanna live with a Cimarron girl. I could be happy, the rest of my life, with a Cimarron... oh never mind. Pretty close, GF. Kind of like the misheard "Purple Haze" lyrics "Scuse me while I kiss this guy." Maybe funnier in 1967 than today.

A high school buddy of min thought that Inagaddadivida was “In the garden of eden”...Maybe it was... (: I’m pretty sure it was. According to a trivia site I looked at it was either that, or in the garden of Venus, or some Hindu phrase. In any event the lead singer was on LSD and slurred into what we learned it as... LSD is the gift that keeps on giving in music...

Sorry to read this. He’s been a fine pitcher for a number of years...Bet Cleveland is glad they didn’t trade any of the other pieces of that staff last winter...

Troy Tukowtzki is a walking setback. Sad to say, I’m not at all surprised. Hope he recovers and gets back, but it won’t shock me if Didi beats him back...and everyone else, with the exception of Ellsbury...So near and yet so far...

Amazing he’s still out there. That should tell players something about the qualifying offer and how teams value that lost draft pick.

This should be one of the first issues the player's union goes after during the next rounds of negotiations with the owners. The system needs to change, maybe just award teams that loses a free agent with a bonus draft pick after a round that's determined by the quality of the player lost, but do not take away a pick from the team that signs the player. This is seriously affecting free agency. I think Keuchel and Krimbel would be signed by now if there wasn't an issue about losing the draft pick.

Likely true, but the fact that they were so adamant that they deserved six year contracts was a big factor that pushed them to the back burner right away... And now it’s being proven that with them or without them, the sport continues...

Kuechel was even willing to take a one year deal, yet both guys are still unsigned. It's not good for the game.

You have to blame the players and their agents for misevaluation at the outset, but once the valuations were lowered you’d certainly think both of those players to be talented enough that there are a couple of teams that have pitcher on the staff that could have been upgraded. So at that point the issue does become systemic... Could it be the beards? The ZZ Top factor runs rampant in baseball as all players begin to shave clean... (:
