She’s finally starting to be able to take slightly bumpy roads...boing...boing...boing... Is there such thing as a non-bumpy road in Colorado? Truth be known...there are horribly bumpy, bumpy, not quite as bumpy, and damned near impassable...I was on one last fall that I turned back. I feared damage to our 4 x 4 pickup...

Sigh.... Neil freaking Young. Really? I don’t get how a bunch of terrific guys like you can stomach his whining. I would only play his music if I was trying to clear out a party, or if I was trying to torture a terrorist.🙉

I add my apologies for the thread hijack and agree with Inger if you want to transfer it to the music thread to keep this one clear for Spring Training games.
BTW Inger, two other Grass Roots singles I recall were "Bella Linda" and "Walking Through the Country." I don't think they were big chart hits, but I do recall them getting airplay.
As for Stevie Wonder -- concur with the obvious that he is among the most creative artists of the rock era. I really love even his earliest stuff like "Fingertips" -- from the first notes you feel the energy -- and his middle period hits like "I Was Made To Love Her" and "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" among many others. I think I like pretty much everything he did except for that embarrassing duet with Paul McCartney.
They're all entitled to a few clunkers, I guess.

Chuck -- I agree Neil Young is an acquired taste. But if I really wanted to extort information from a bad guy, I would subject him to non-stop Celine Dion and not give him a basin to barf in.

Pipps, you’d be surprised... that kind of music is not as dead as you (we) think (thought)... I got the Beatles White Album on vinyl for my brother for Christmas. Just scrolling through my recent playlists I see I've listened to Paint It Black by the Rolling Stones and Superstition by Stevie Wonder. The White Album reissue that just came out this winter is amazing.

I guess we can just call the music talk between game chatter and let it ride, but speaking of NEIL Young, anyone missing NEIL Walker as much as I do? I’ve had hangnails I’ve enjoyed more and missed more after they were gone...
