With that play, Brett Gardner spoke to me and he said "listen, don't waste your fucking time watching this game when you can read a book or do the crossword or go to sleep. I'm not going to put in the effort and neither should you." You got it Gardy. Yeah. I started hauling wheelbarrow loads of gravel to my front yard two nights ago. I slightly pulled a muscle in my lower back, so I took the night off last night. I can still get a couple of hours in tonight if I go outside right now. Somehow, it’s a tough choice between wheelbarrowing gravel and the game. Should be no contest... Convince me to stay in, Jon. I’m still a little sore...but the gravel needs to be hauled. And they’re calling for blizzard conditions about 20-30 miles north of here tomorrow night..,and I’m working all weekend...so I know what I SHOULD do... |
