Yeah. I started hauling wheelbarrow loads of gravel to my front yard two nights ago. I slightly pulled a muscle in my lower back, so I took the night off last night. I can still get a couple of hours in tonight if I go outside right now. Somehow, it’s a tough choice between wheelbarrowing gravel and the game. Should be no contest... Convince me to stay in, Jon. I’m still a little sore...but the gravel needs to be hauled. And they’re calling for blizzard conditions about 20-30 miles north of here tomorrow night..,and I’m working all weekend...so I know what I SHOULD do... I hope you're feeling better, inger. It’s not so bad...I’m lucky to have the strong back I have at 65. It recovers quick from these little pulls and snags, too... |

I’m crossed between hoping Gardner did that on his own for a hot, and blaming Boone. Someone was a doofus at the least, maybe it was a double-doofus. I know we’ve made enough weird/doofus plays in the field for at least a half season of play already... |

Putting gravel in your yard in lieu of grass is a part of desert life the you folks that live where it rains is something that you don’t understand until you live here. Out here there’s not much mowing, but there’s a constant battle vs. weeds, and grass is not a given anywhere. Lots of watering if you care to have any plants... |
