Hey fellow HeAmyHa posters, I am trying to recruit some more posters for our dear forum here. I bought some bare minimum facebook ads. I also started an Instagram account so if you want to follow that here is the link:
Let me know if you have any ideas for me on how to get some new posters to sign up!

Thanks so much for doing this Kaybli. Like the Yankees, we could use some more warm bodies. If you trace us back to our roots, we must be among of the more senior Yankee sites out there. If someone did a Google search for Yankee discussion sites, I am not sure the name He Amy Ha would jump out at people. I like your Instagram message, it does get us out there.
Jeez, I'd be happy to just get back a bunch of our old prolific posters. I know we have contact info for Jwild and that for his own reasons, which I will always respect, he doesn't feel like being part of this right now. Jwild and I were two of four baseball-history-loving posters who by coincidence all signed up within a few weeks of each other in 2004 (I think). The other two were banfoulballs and grandforks. Is there contact info for them? I would be happy to write to them if there is. Have other former posters simply indicated they don't want to be here? Based on some of the viewing numbers, I suspect some of them are out there. Hmm, can we poach sites like Pinstripe Alley? They have the kind of multi-participant discussions we used to have.
Like it used to be with Whooping Cranes and American Bison, we are getting near to a survival tipping point. They came back, and so can we! Thanks again Kaybli.

The thing is we have 44 posters on the site. If we could get some more participation from a few guys that used to post more often, it would go a long way towards making the board more fun. But I can't force anyone to post. People are busy with their own things.
I could change the name of the site. I had thought about that. But the URL is set in stone now that I've already commissioned the ads and I wouldn't want to confuse existing members by changing the URL of the site. Let's see if the ads I bought actually bring us some more users.
Don't get me wrong though. I'm thankful for the wonderful posters we have on this site. It just gets a little lonely on the game threads on those West Coast games! So I'm open to any ideas for generating some more activity!

In honesty, while I wish we had more, this forum has never had huge numbers. Be that at Scout or fanhome.
I don't have any suggestions how to get more posters. If we knew the emails of the posters in the past we could email them.

I haven’t posted there and have largely not read anything there either but if you want new posters you should delete the political thread. It doesn’t relate to baseball, it is divisive and not one person is going to learn anything from anyone else by reading it.
