I love Jan from Toyota. My wife suspects as much. Don't know what that has to do with anything, but since her commercial was just on and the game sucks, I thought I'd throw it out there.  Shes cute for a 48 year old. |

Good for you Inger. I sometimes think playing cards is becoming a lost art. Poker, Pinochle, Bridge, Rummy, Canasta, Euchre, Hearts, anything this side of 52 pickup -- it's all good. I love poker. My job and family don’t leave me much time to play anymore but once upon a time I was pretty good at it and at some point in my life I am going to do more of it. Big part of my retirement plan is being within a drive of a decent poker room. I love poker too. I used to go to Atlantic City often to play. Haven't gone in a long time though. I used to play online quite a bit too. Not so much anymore. |

Note: Ruthie had her head shaved bald yesterday in support of my sister, who had to have her head shaved for her cancer treatments... Me? Nah. I have a lumpy head. Plus, so glad to still have a good head of hair. That brain cancer runs in the family, so I’m just hoping I never HAVE to shave mine... Best wishes for your sister, inger! And bless Ruthie for showing her support! |

I picked the right game to miss tonight...No regrets on that one. Had a fun time with old(er than us) folks. We played hand and foot, with the men taking a rare victory from the women. Then we played golf. I only finished 7 points behind the winner, but was still in third place out of six. Lots of fun banter...Some good food and company...
