Entering the game Paddack had only allowed 4 HR, all to LHH. Today, the Yanks had 4 HR, all by RHH...

Boston probably going to lose down 14-9 in the 9th. Tampa winning 3-2 against Toronto in the 6th.

Voit triples! [img alt=" " class="smile" src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/udcwFqPimnXDtjoTmoVL.gif"] That was definitely an error.

The Yankees are essentially on a pace that would equal Boston's record of last year. Would they really have a much better record if everyone had been healthy from day one? I'm not saying they are better without the regulars, just that it's hard to imagine they would be significantly better up to this point with them in there. According to Katie Sharp on the podcast, Yankees best start since 1960 except for 1988. More or less the same pace in R/G and HR/G as last year.

Part of the reason the record is so good is that the schedule makers are insane. The fact that the season is 1/3 over and we’ve played Baltimore 12 of the 19 times we will play them this season is weird.
If I’m not mistaken, we haven’t played any of the 19 games we’ll be playing against Toronto. That may be even weirder.
We’re going to need those big bats back before the season is over, and a couple more arms will be nice at some point, too...
