Not at all. He’s human after all but that’s not good. Judge has been coaching him on defense. Hopefully someone like CC can take him aside and coach him about how to show up. I think there’s a decent chance he’s going to be sent down when Didi comes up this week. I hope so too, because the NY media will be all over him for ducking them and then the fans will pick up on it. All Frazier had to do was give some textbook answer on how he had a rough game but has been working on improving his defense.

Come on Frazier it’s just outfield not an infield position, it’s not that hard! You have the speed! Get it together man!

He's a young player who had a bad night. Its one game in a series we won. Joe Torre used to tell the story of the time he hit into 3 dp in a game to make his players understand life goes on. Boone needs to watch out for his young players.

Frazier has been the worst defensive outfielder in the league according to stats. I hope he figures things out soon. I don’t want to see him demoted to AAA.

God bless Frazier(maybe should say down goes Frazier) but he seems to have no natural instincts for playing right field. Last night was not the first time messing up. My little league coach could hide me in right field but you can’t do that in the big leagues. His relatively short throw to the plate ended up half way up the first base line. I realize some of the plays were difficult but he seemed to compound one mistake by making another. Makes me appreciate Judges defense even more. 2 out of 3 from the Red Sox ain’t bad though,

One thing I noticed a couple of years ago was that Frazier often takes poor routes to the ball. Those poor routes often have him arriving to the spot of the potential catch late or at odd angles that force him to switch into max effort gear or make an heroic effort at the last second.
Concussion effects? That could be compounding an issue that he had before the occurrence of the concussions.
While his batting style seems to be producing, results have been rather mixed. I see him as a bit over-aggressive and often guess-hitting. When he guesses right and the pitch is where he’s already decided to swing he can be lethal. I believe the more cerebral pitchers will beat him most of the time.
I’d plan on trading him. I think his Yankee future is limited. Sadly, we have over-exposed him now, and the teams that like his bat or going to take points off for fielding, or consider him as a DH candidate. He’s a bit unproven even at that. It has to be tough for him, he arrived in MLB with a confident air about him. Now, hiding from the press, brooding...

Frazier can be a very valuable piece for the Yankees, either as a player or as part of a trade. But this is a critical time for him. If the press and the fans decide to make him the number one whipping boy, this could go south in a hurry. Hopefully he doesn't become a Chuck Knoblauch/Sonny Gray type of headcase. He clearly has hitting talent, and just as clearly serious defensive deficiencies. But even for Frazier, last night was an outlier. He wasn't just making mistakes, he was losing his grip.
An Uber ride to Scranton might not be the worst thing for him. You can bet the Fenway faithful will be in full battle gear the next time he plays there. As would Yankee fans in a reverse situation.
On the bright side, we've gotten past another A-Rod, Jessica and Matty debacle.

Hey, Mr. Pipps! Do you recall Willie Davis’ three error inning in the ‘66 World Series?...

Hey, Mr. Pipps! Do you recall Willie Davis’ three error inning in the ‘66 World Series?... Oh I most certainly do. In fact I thought of that -- as obviously you did as well -- during Frazier's travails last night. I can't recall if that game was in LA or Baltimore -- I am thinking Baltimore, I know it was a day game as they all were in that glorious time. I also remember his OF mate Sweet Lou Johnson deliberately dropped a warm-up toss in the next inning, supposedly indicating that it could happen to anybody to divert the crowd. At least that is how the broadcasters (was it Vin Scully) presented it. Four game Orioles sweep of a supposedly invincible Dodger team. I know it must have pained you as a young Oriole-hating lad growing up nearby. But much as I disliked the Orioles at that time, I was still a hardcore American Leaguer and was glad to see the Dodgers get their comeuppance. I don't think they scored more than three or four runs in that whole series.

And let John and Suzyn do one inning for good measure. That would be the ultimate endurance test for a baseball fan.
