Given that Charlie Gehringer was dubbed with that name in the 20’s-40’s, and that Gehringer was a similar type ball player... It’s quite fitting. In fact, DJ has produced numbers quite similar to Gehringer’s numbers to date this season... and plays with that stoic and consistent quality...
