And it's not like he's hitting it on the screws or getting robbed. So many lame slow rollers or pop ups. I love the guy, and he may yet have a few more big hits for us, but the tank is definitely running low. Yea, its tough to watch him bat right now.

Ick. Two run HR for Santana makes it 4-2. German has lost the thread. Seven HRs in his last 15 innings.

You sort of wonder why Cashman did not try to get a pitcher given how thin we are right now.

He will take a salary dump type deal but not trade real talent for them. When is the last time he traded an elite prospect for anyone? Given the Yankee salary to revenue ratio I think he should have gotten Keuchel - unless he is not serious about pursuing a WS. Which he might not be - money is a good thing.

A week and a half of crap offense. I can see why Boone hasnt pulled him because the bullpen needs rest.

While we give German a hard time Yankee offense is less than awesome. What the heck does boone see in Morales. He is one of the worse hitters on the team.

I wonder if the Yankees would some kid, making his third career start, pitch into the 7th inning with 100+ pitches?

We would have to have someone good enough to do that from our minors...which is not very likely. Severino, Montgomery, German...the Yankees have had plenty of talented pitchers come up from the minors.

He's only acquired Didi Gregorius, Domingo German, Aaron Hicks, Chad Green, Gleyber Torres, Clint Frazier, Tommy Kahnle, Zack Britton, J.A. Happ, Luke Voit, Gio Urshela, James Paxton, and Giancarlo Stanton via trade.
I agree with you on Keuchel.
