We win. Not easily but we win. And stay in first place. And for those worried about Boston will likely pick up a game on them. Not that they matter this year.

Brilliant performance from Tarpley. Yankees win, despite Boone's best efforts.

Did they rule catcher interference? No, the batter swore he was hit by the pitch. They checked it out. He wasn't. Are you watching the dots on Gameday or watching with the volume off again? He’s not wearing his glasses and has his hearing aid turned off, has dimmed the picture on the TV and is wearing both a blind fold and ear plugs, with the SAP on the TV set in Spanish which he doesn’t understand... But he’s enjoying the game...

Brilliant performance from Tarpley. Yankees win, despite Boone's best efforts. When he does a deliberate walk with the bases loaded you will know he is of the Pete Rose persuasion...

Not sure what occurred there at all. Noetsi, that should be your motto.

Brilliant performance from Tarpley. Yankees win, despite Boone's best efforts. They were certainly not picking up his breaking ball. Nice job from another call up!

I’ve always just loved this Tarpley kid. Bet anyone here a dollar that Boone will start putting him into games in the Holder role now... (:
