He’s not wearing his glasses and has his hearing aid turned off, has dimmed the picture on the TV and is wearing both a blind fold and ear plugs, with the SAP on the TV set in Spanish which he doesn’t understand... But he’s enjoying the game... I always enjoy winning. Hearing is the one sense that works. Yet, you have the sound off. It’s like you go out of your way to not know WTF is going on...

Like the Jimmy Buffett song “He Went to Paris” “Now he lives in the islands Fishes the pilings And drinks his green label each day Writing his memoirs Losin' his hearin' But he don't care what most people say”

Kind of lost in all of this is the nice job by Cortes. I know he was working on three days rest, but he was pitching effectively. I am simply too old to understand the logic behind pulling a pitcher who is pitching well. I am quite sure there are charts explaining why this is mathematically unquestionable, but these charts are doodoo.

Yanks will miss both Syndergaard and deGrom, right?

Kahnle and Chapman might not like that, but he set them up today... And yes, Didi should have made that play, but why would you replace a SS that’s played well in the field all season for one yhat’s Still scraping the dust off after you predetermined he’d get the day off? Doofus doo-doo there... Boone should manage drunk. Maybe his impaired judgement is better than his regular judgement...

Yanks will miss both Syndergaard and deGrom, right? Yup, we face Vargas and Wheeler as of now.

Kahnle and Chapman did their best to give it away.

Didi wanted to start today. Boone said no he needed a day off. Then he puts him in cold. Not smart. Sometimes Boone shows us that he’s inexperienced as a manager.

Doing a little advance scouting on MadBum, just in case the Yankees have something in mind. He's looking good against a tough Dodgers lineup, only one run in seven innings.

Yanks will miss both Syndergaard and deGrom, right? They won’t pitch against us but we won’t miss them.
