I remember that night well. I was on vacation with my family in the Wisconsin Dells and also, my favorite hockey team, The Penguins, won the Stanley Cup over the heavenly favored Detroit Red Wings! The Wisconsin Dells are beautiful, but largely unknown on the coasts. The Pens have had their share of glory, haven't they? I remember their first year in the NHL in that initial wave of expansion that brought in six teams. The Igloo was the oldest arena in the league for a few years. We used to go the Dells every summer when my kids were younger, the loved the water parks. Now, not so much. I remember when there were two different periods that the Pens were the laughingstock of the league. Mario saved them, twice. |

Just catching up with you guys, been out working all day. Happy to see the offense woke up, and I recommend Cash remove Wheeler from his shopping list... (:
I hope to catch game two, but I do have to go back out for at least a few minutes...maybe more...
