That seems like a skinny price. Then looks really good for an 18-year old, bit so far away from MLB in Rookie Ball...

The kid has pitched to solid ERAs and thrown strikes in the development stage of his career. Maybe he’ll be a good one...

I think Gardner will DH often against hard throwing righties. He has a .800+ vs. righties and a SLG over .600 vs. fastballs...

They also could trade Didi if they don’t plan to sign him. I wouldn’t but they could.

I don't understand this unless Judge or Stanton's return is going to be delayed. Seems a strange time to make this deal

They also could trade Didi if they don’t plan to sign him. I wouldn’t but they could. Actually, I think that’s a good idea. With infielders galore, the one that’s over thirty should be a prime candidate to go in a cost cutting move. They essentially have three shortstops that could start for many teams at the position. The only thing that may save Didi is that they can surely use his lefty stick in the lineup the rest of this year. On the other hand, moving his contract could help us get some pitching without exceeding the luxury tax...

Maybe as you say he is just trade material.

I think Frazier is getting traded and Gardner goes back to being a backup as planned.

Twenty Eight of EE’s fifty eight base hits have been for extra bases this season. Twenty one league-leading HR and seven doubles.
He’s a slow runner, but apparently a pretty smart one. He’s stolen 61 bases in his career and only been caught 14 times. It’s not easy to be successful at 81.3% when you’re slow... He was out the only time he’s tried this season...
