It is not just the right of the person who speaks to be heard. It is the right of everyone in an audience to listen. Every time we silence someone, we make ourselves a prisoner of our own action, in that we deny ourselves the right to hear.
Freedom of speech is meaningless, unless it protects the freedom of the person who thinks differently.
A bad Yankee-Pirate trade had the Yanks sending Doug Drabek and Brian Fischer to Pittsburgh for Pat Clements and Cecilio Guante and somebody whose name I am not recalling. Drabek won a Cy Young and 92 games for Pittsburgh.
I was going to college near Pittsburgh in the late 80's through early 90's and saw a lot of those great Pirate teams, the staff anchored by Drabek.

LeMahieu's play at second to end that last inning was outstanding. I hate to think where the Yankees would be without him. He is a legitimate MVP candidate at this point.

Drabek's son Kyle was a first round pick by the Phillies, but never made it. Hard to believe he's only 31 and out of baseball. There was a lot of hype surrounding him.
I grew up in Northeast PA, where the Steelers were the most popular football team, with some Eagles and Cowboys (yuck) sprinkled in. The Yanks and Phillies were the two most popular baseball teams with some occasional Mets and Pirates fans mixed in.
