Gardner, why are you sliding head first into first base up 11 runs? Rays, why are you challenging down 11 runs?

what hustle from Gardner in a 12-1 game....whatever the remarks when he first came up, he has been a solid career player for the Yankees, and given us all he had....I will always remember him fondly...

Strange game, the Yanks don't have a hit since the 1st inning but lead 6-1. As soon as I post this, boom!......6 more runs!

inger.....you have to go to the store for bread?....my mama taught me early, and I have baked bread for the family all my life...not all the bread stuff we use, but the hearty, artisan-type loaf....it is sooooo easy, and tastes so good...crusty and moist...
there are any number of you tube videos on making artisan-type loafs...I use one close to what the man on Living Traditions video does.....I add a half-teaspoon of olive oil, and let the dough rise in a 140 degree oven to overcome what I thought was 2 deficiencies...the bread was a bit dry and crumbly...and there was not enough yeast activity....
google Living Traditions video, and search for his bread-making video....yeah it's best in the Dutch Oven cookware, but you should have a Dutch Oven anyhow...

poor tampa. They have like 11 more games in the next month against us.
Only 2 short of the Yankee record for consecutive games with a home runs.

Now is the real test against Houston. If we score 10 more runs than they do we would pass them for 2nd place in the run differential.

I guess I’m just what they call a new-fashioned guy...I take the bread out of the bread box and put it on a machine that takes out as many slices as I punch into the bread removal machine. The bread removal machine then places the bread on a conveyor which sends it to the peanut butter spreader followed by the jelly spreader, after which the lid piece is placed on (the lid piece machine goes into pause mode while the potato chips are placed evenly over the jelly if that option has been chosen). Then the sandwich goes into the pre-chewer to prepare it for consumption. I used to have a human personal chewer, but I caught her swallowing some of my food and had to let her go...
