which changes little
3/4 works for me. Happ won't pitch in the play offs.

lol, I don't think I've ever seen Pipps get lite into like that before. I do agree it's nice to see Noetsi with some fire in his belly, but it's strange that it was towards you. It's all good, Chi. No hard feelings toward anybody. The game brings out emotions. I fell asleep after I got home and saw the score. I missed the “Fight of the Century”. We always said to go jump in “A” lake. To me that allowed you to decide which lake you were going to jump into. To tell you to go jump in “THE” lake would imply that there is a specific lake in mind. Unfortunately you were not told which lake. There could be complications now. “Russ, Pipps just jumped into Lake Michigan.” “Don’t blame me, and it doesn’t count. I wanted him to jump into Lake Erie”. I’ve learned from this. Next time I’m inclined to use that phrase, I’m going to be more specific. “Go jump into the southwest end of Lake Ontario right where that boulder with the moss on the north side is. The one with the pecan tree to it’s right”...

if Stroman wants to be a Yankee, he auditioned well in his win over the Red Sox today...he did some taunts toward the RS dugout that has their players and commentators on edge....and most importantly, he dominated their lineup... What's that old phrase about poking a hornet's nest? Hmm. I think it’s “Don’t poke a hornet’s nest”. Yes. I believe that to be right... (:

I consider Noetsi to be a nice guy and an important part of this forum. Doesn't mean I won't dispute his viewpoints in the future. In fact I guarantee that I will. Probably starting with the next game thread. But I found his remarks to be quite restrained and tasteful. If I could choose a lake to jump into, it would probably be one of the glacial ones at Glacier National Park. Cold but beautiful.

I would think twice about jumping into Lake Michigan, it's a complete cesspool, especially near Chicago.

Anytime you're mentioned in a category with Sonny Gray, Carl Pavano and Kei Igawa, it's time to reassess your approach.

He always loved playing centerfield... (: He loved playing there and apparently today he loved hitting one there as well. Old timers game was the highlight of the day thanks to Happ

Let’s pretend I didn’t pay a lot of money to see today’s game. Despite the score, we had a great time.

At least Cessa is eating some innings. Other than his first batter he pitched well.

I am over-dosing on the Kool-Aid, I guess....I feel like we have a decent shot here in the 9th... We hung in until the last out.
