Two separate injuries on one play? Ugh, he'll probably be out 6 weeks. It doesn't seem as if the Yankees get many plain old ten day injuries.

not sure how he got a right knee contusion that way. Wonder if he will make the trip or Frazier will It wasn't the prettiest slid you'll ever see.

Yanks destroying the AL East this year. I think we are only about 5 games up He means we are 24-7 against the AL East this year.

Posted a couple weeks back that from that point until the break we will find out a lot about this team. I think that day they were either tied or maybe a .5 game up on Tampa. If the scores hold up tonight (Tampa is losing 7-0 and Boston is winning 6-3), we’ll be 6 up on Tampa and 8 up on Boston. Need to obviously at least split with Boston in the “London series”. Then when we come back we’ll have 2 against little brother and a very important 4 game set at the Trop. We have an opportunity to really bury Tampa and Boston. Let’s do it!
Hope Stanton is ok....

Maybe this is Maybin's year He's going to be out for a while. I thought they said his injury was less bad than initially thought. It's amazing how many players we are losing. Never saw a year like this one. Maybe we should start having players wear armor on their legs

Anyone notice that Chapman and Sanchez were not on the same page for the last pitch. Sanchez called for a slider in the dirt and Chapman threw a fastball up. When they met on the mound after the game, you could tell that Chapman missed the sign. He looked a bit perplexed. Sometimes when you change signs so many times with runners at second base, you can forget which set you’re using. That’s why so many pitchers now are seen looking into their hats and catchers at the flip chart on their wrists.
Had Sanchez called for a fastball and gotten a slider in the dirt, the ball likely would have gotten away and the runners moved to second and third. Luck is with the Yankees thus far, with the exception of the injured list.

Yanks destroying the AL East this year. I think we are only about 5 games up He meant the New York Yankees have an excellent won-loss record vs. their opponents that play in the AL East. And they do. Without that, they’d be behind...
