That red-tailed hawk is the best animal attraction at Yankee Stadium since that squirrel. Kaybli, do you still have that image?

I’ve been wondering about all of those hi sliders that Chapman has been throwing. I wonder if that is a change up that is being mid-identified...It sure seems to work much better than your average hanging slider...

I just figured if it was alive it would move more They seldom move when roosting, Russ...They hunt by speed and stealth. Movement gives them away. Also they use a tremendous amount of energy hunting, so if they’ve had a meal, they rest to digest it... They are beautiful birds who have adapted to urban environments. They have a hair-raising scream that often gets dubbed in for an eagle sound in commercials.

But tall buildings and lots of rodents and pigeons has to be awesome for them.

Me, too... I keep my distance from most wild animals, but I find them to be interesting. I love to watch from a safe distance, though I have had a few close encounters with snakes and an accidental face to face with an elk and a bighorn sheep...I backed away slowly in both cases...Sometimes when you’re in a wilderness setting you just happen to be on the same path as the animal...
