Jeter was not real good defensively at SS, but one thing he did exceptionally well, I thought, was going back on popups.... Jeter was as good as any SS I've ever seen at those pop ups into the shallow outfield. Jeter was to Gardner as Moses was to Jesus... |

This isn’t second guessing and he has two walks but it is sort of weird that Voit comes back and plugs right into the three spot. Pretty much everyone who missed time this year has needed a while to get their timing back.

we'd better hope that the electronic strike calling experiment goes well...…...calls like that determine the outcome of games....players should determine outcomes, not umpires...
