The name Willy Adames always makes me think of the Beatles’ Lady Madonna. I mentioned to my kids that it looks like his name is misspelled becaue if the e in the last name. Which led to a discussion of how Adames should be pronounced. Which resulted in the new pronunciation in our home which is “Wile E. A. Dumbass”  Your kids are the funniest. |

Reminds me of something I started here when we had company. The ten year old boy asked if we could have fish sticks for dinner. When I got back from the store I told him I picked up his fish dicks that he wanted. Told him I got a back of 40 fish sticks for everyone else and was able to find him 4 fish dicks...Cod... Then, when they left here they were heading to see another uncle, whom I called ahead of time to make sure he served some more fish dicks for the lad. The boy’s name is Gunner. He may come gunning for me when he gets older... (: |
