I'm not a fan of afternoon weekday games, since I rarely get to watch them.

I’m tempted, so I’m going to go out within a few minutes so I’m not here at 11:05. I have a prospect to check in on. Then, our house is on the way to the next one. I can watch some during lunch. Maybe see the end of it’s not a long game. Appointment at 2:00... (who am I kidding? All games are long)...I won’t see the end...Greinke. Tough assignment today. We might get mini-swept... Get McBroom on duty!...

Does anyone recall how many times Luke has been on the IL since the trade with the Cardinals last season?

Too many holes in our line up again with Voit, LMH, Gardner, Stanton, and Sanchez all out

The good news for us is that Boston lost last night and is behind 3 other teams for the WC (of course Tampa won, but few seem scared of them).

I don't know if that's right though. It lists his position as catcher.

Yep, it's twice, the core business in London and now what's being called a sports hernia. The way the Yankees medical and training staffs have performed this year, I wonder if they misdiagnosed the original injury. Voit now joins Stanton, Sanchez and Andujar on the double IL list for the season, with CC leading the pack with three trips. I need to recount to see if Hale is the 24th or 25th different Yankee to hit the IL this season, but for sure the Yanks have blown past 30 separate stints in total. With a third of the season to go. Anybody know what Greg Bird is up to these days? I read reports in early July that he was running in Tampa and about ready to face live pitching, but I haven't seen anything since. This would be a propitious time for him to get it together.

Did AZ really get two hits in the first and did not score.

Tauchman has turned into a pretty good player. Homers to make it 2-0.
