The D'Backs are doing a good job of fouling off pitches.

He wasn’t locating. Plus, his gopher’s stomach was growling... Plus he was over 80 pitches, which is where Boone starts to feel faint.

Storms on the horizon. The Yankees either need to take the lead ASAP or stall long enough to keep this from being an official game.

See the pitcher Green, Here's been in for a thousand years, Wilder than a loon, You wouldn't believe what he puts us through.
And I've been putting out fire, With gasoline.

Hicks doing a splendid job in the leadoff spot. Not a big fan of his or the big contract we just gave him. He's a fourth outfielder in my opinion. Has some pop, but really doesn't hit enough to warrant a starting spot or the lead off position.

BaBoone strikes again. Pull an experienced, starting pitcher in the fifth inning who had yet to yield a run and had thrown 82 pitches. At least, give Tanaka a chance to empty the tank and get out of it.

Has some pop, but really doesn't hit enough to warrant a starting spot or the lead off position. If he could stay healthy, I might be more apt to concur. Hicks is constantly having to repeat spring training again in the middle of the season following an injury. He had a solid year last season, though he missed time. I did think the contract was a bit overpriced, comparatively to his career numbers. If he could steal bases and stay healthy, I wouldn’t have minded.

Lofidel Locastro with a lodouble... Sounds like a long instrumental from some progressive rock band.
