He was fortunate to inherit his dad’s arm and bat. Also fortunate to have apparently gotten his athleticism/range from his mom along with at least half of his face... ...you knew his mom?...……. Lol, no. But Dante was not an athletic fielder and could have played Frankenstein’s monster with very little make-up. Those other talents and the lad’s “normal” looks had to come from some place...

Hah, my grandfather had a Red Foley album. "Old Shep" and "Peace In The Valley." Covered by Elvis. your grandfather sounds like a real man to me.....do you know (approximately) the year of his birth? I bet he had a stereopticon as well....and a set of cards to view.....big thing to do when the conversation waned, and before it was nap time after family Sunday dinners... Well thank you Utah. I idolized both of my grandfathers. The one who had the Red Foley album was born in 1892. I don't know about a stereoptican, but he did have a collection of silent films. Big fan of Harold Lloyd and Clara Bow (ooh la la), as I became as well. I remember he also had records by The Ink Spots and Mills Brothers and a group called Somethin' Smith and the Redheads. And the Carter Family, if you remember them. Wow, thanks for giving me a chance to talk about my grandfather. And when were your grandparents born if you know?

Those other talents and the lad’s “normal” looks had to come from some place... yeah...Dante was on-camera early in the game...he has not aged well either in the looks department, but who among us has??………...Dante may have been one of those guys who had an exceptional hitting year, although he had several good years, I think....

HR for Ford. If Bichette hadn't robbed Didi, this would be a different game.

HR for Ford. If Bichette hadn't robbed Didi, this would be a different game. or if our defense had simply been better. We gave them three free runs

Its amazing. In the last two weeks we lost Torres, effectively, Voit, EE, Hicks, and Sanchez and still won 9 in a row. No other team in baseball could do that

Even when Bichette screws up he makes it work.
