Chapman comes in with a runner already on base. We all know he doesn't hold runners well, so the Jays could be looking to steal a bag here. To give her credit, this was part of Suzyn’s point. They prefer to have him start clean so if they’re going to bring him in why wait until someone is on. John doesn’t like people disagreeing with him. |

This is ridiculous. A seeing eye single, and Tanaka is removed? He was ahead on the count and induced a mediocre grounder. He has had a couple double plays today. Weak, Boone.

Who knows what would have happened but none of Tanaka’s ABs were as tough as what they’re doing to Chapman this inning.
