While the pitching frustrates me personally our inability to score is really puzzling. We should score more off these pitchers. Teams get hot and cold. That’s also a key in the post season. Who’s hot? Who’s not? Who’s due to get hot? Who’s due to cool off. If you recall, the Yankee staffwas over-performing for a stretch earlier this season. Believe it or not, that could happen again...But if it does, and our bats go cold... uh-oh... see how it works? I mean you’ve only been WATCHING THE GAME FOR FORTY YEARS, right?... |

Good pitching change by Oakland. Wish they hadn’t done that. Fiers was ripe for the picking. Oh well, get the bullpen...

That was basically the problem in 2017 bullpen got burnt out. CC wound up having to pitch important games etc. I think the bigger problem was the Yankees couldn't score runs in Houston. That was a strange series with the home team winning every game. Thats true the losses were like 2-1, 2-1, 7-1, 4-0 so a combined 3 runs in losses even cy young caliber pitching isn't going to help much there. |
