Inger, I've never started a game thread either. Or very few other threads, for that matter. Sometimes when an old ballplayer dies I might if nobody else has. I leave it to faster and more experienced hands. I'm glad somebody starts them, or this would be one awfully quiet website. Well... then we can both be an answer to that trivia question. I’m quite sure you were tenured at Pinstripe Plus prior to me, so tgat would make you THE answer... I am sure there must be others out there. I don't know if I was on PP before you. I think I went on there in either 2004 or 2005. I recall it was close to the same time as Jwild and Banfoulballs and Gforks. But there are plenty who have been here longer than me, plus I took a couple of sabbaticals along the way.

Guys like Kaybli and Michcusejoe couldn't have been much more than teenagers when they started. I still remember a post from Chi years back talking about how often his young daughter played the song "Call Me Maybe." I wonder if that's still on her playlist.

Ha ha, you have a great memory, Pipps. Sadly, my now teenage daughter has moved on to even worse music, Ariana Grande.

I recall posting on some type of group list of Yankee fans around the mid-nineties (perhaps 93, 94, or 95?) - very primitive design. My sobriquet was always some iteration of Rizzuto. As each platform upgraded (not always for the better, as we have seen), was sold, or became defunct, I matriculated to the next iteration. All the way to HeAmyHa!
Years and years ago, I used to write really long and carefully researched posts, with my trusty Baseball Encyclopedia by my side (i.e., BBR - before baseball-reference, etc.). I wish all of those old posts were accessible to see how right or wrong my predictions were over time. Those were the days of posters using multiple screen names to troll, to agree with themselves, or just to be nasty. Before moderators had the ability to catch them...the Wild West of baseball cyberspace. The Sam Militello era.
Does anyone remember Hobbes or Sebboh? Or Frateb? I recall arguing with those guys. Like Pipps, I was dormant on and off, usually due to family medical travail and work juggling. I recall fondly posting with BanFoulBalls, and Pipps, and there was a third in the triumvirate that I’m blanking on. Someone will remember.
I also recall more opposition posters on the forum...especially Boston fans, which often led to some of the best interactions...and the worst, as well.

I love it when I hear young people saying how they love “oldies” and that song is on the list. I was listening to music one day when my grand daughters were both there. They didn’t have much of a problem until I played “See That Girl” by the Righteous Brothers. I imagine the “”Brothers” were in their late twenties, maybe dawning thirties when they recorded that song. One of the girls said “Grampy, why do you want to listen to those old men sing”?... I’d already played “Time Of My Life” from “ Dirty Dancing”, and they didn’t whimper...Bill Medley was easily in his sixties on that recording...

Does anyone remember Hobbes or Sebboh? I remember this guy, he goes way back to the old ACC Boards which lead us to Fanhome and the early version of PinstripesPlus.

Rizz, I remember Red Sox fans like TrotNixonForPresident and Sox in SD who were good posters on a Yankees board. There was also a weird Sox fan named Zen who was always putting down his own team and who was strongly disliked by the other Sox fans. We used to have another good older poster who went by bangbangplay, but he left long ago. We also had a poster who went by Scooter.

Kaybli, when did you start posting? You must have been a baby at a Fisher-Price keyboard! I was 21 back in the off-season before 2005. I had just been kicked off another board for making fun of Womack too much so I took my Womack hating to the scout board and found a bunch of knowledgeable posters and became a regular!
