Just a horrible at bat by Tauchman. sometimes being new to the majors matters. Not the moment we wanted a rookie up

The Dodgers tried to gift them the game and they wouldn't take it.

Well we should have tied it up. Bad luck the bottom of the order was up with the bases loaded.
But it still hurts

The Dodgers tried to gift them the game and they wouldn't take it. I think players try to do too much sometimes. Tauchman did not need a hit just to get the ball in the OF.

The Dodgers tried to gift them the game and they wouldn't take it. True. So true. And Gardner hustled his arse off to put us in a position to win on his B-day... Sanchez is talented, but I never feel like he’s going to come through when he’s the last hope...

That is what he was trying to do with the first two pitches, both of them hitable, he just fouled them off. Once he was down 0-2, he was screwed.

On the bright side, the Yankees started a washed up CC against the best team in the NL and only gave up two runs.

If only it was that easy, Russ. The guy on the mound is talented, too. He also wants to win. The decision to not let Torres score earlier was a tough one. It appeared he had already started for home when time was called. It was probably done right, but had the ump not granted time because he saw action on the field that may have been okay as well. Oh well. We won one. we lost one. There’s one to go...Let’s win the one we haven’t won...

Baez threw him strikes and swung...and missed.

So we’re not the best team any more because of a three-day stretch? How many days will it take to earn the title back? Will we have to do a cage match?...
