Then don’t fray the edges... The modern stratomatic have rules for pitchers getting tired. In the most advanced versions they can not pitch more innings than they did in the year although those rules are so complex I suspect few play them. They even have rules for balls hitting birds I think

Here's to you German! What a start against a great lineup. Allowing only one run despite all those baserunners. Outdueling Kershaw! The starting pitching was very good in this series. Nice to see after the Oakland debacle.

The umpire won't let wade use his aluminum bat for some reason.

This would be a nice time for a home run by Judge

[img class="smile" alt=" " src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/gszgVuvxUtZEFrgJSkis.gif"] I think it was our hitting not our pitching that was the major problem in the Oakland series and yesterday

They even have rules for balls hitting birds I think They had pitcher tiring rules in the 70’s when I played it. Since the DIDN’T have unusual plays back then, nor rain outs...I found a way to incorporate them into our games. I also switched out those hokey 1-20 split cards with a 20-sided die...Which worked so much better... The 20 sided die was also utilized in the special or unusual plays. Just added a nice little wrinkle without convoluting the statistical accuracy. I took my SOM seriously. I was looking at Sabermetrics even then...

I actually like taking in games at Oakland. They’re just playing great baseball right now. I may be wrong, but wasn't the Oakland Coliseum a better place for baseball games before they renovated it to get the Raiders back? Yes I remember it being watchable and the yankees being pretty good there until that.

No computers to crunch the numbers unless you had a mainframe. I used the cards to, they were a pain. Stratomatic not surprisingly uses 20 sided dice now

Laid back, pretty easy to get in and out of the Stadium. Solid, friendly fans, not fair weather or Disneyland.
