Waiting for the lineups to be posted. We should see Luke Voit back tonight. No team shall welcome the September call up more than the Yankees and their bullpen. Here is my perpetually ineffective attempt to predict the lineup:
1. D.J. LeMahieu (3B) 2. Aaron Judge (RF) 3. Gleyber Torres (2B) 4. Gary Sanchez (C) 5. Didi Gregorius (SS) 6. Luke Voit (1B) 7. Brett Gardner (CF) 8. Mike Ford (DH) 9. Mike Tauchman (LF)
Actual lineup:
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 3B 2. Aaron Judge (R) RF 3. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B 4. Didi Gregorius (L) SS 5. Gary Sanchez (R) DH 6. Luke Voit (R) 1B 7. Brett Gardner (L) CF 8. Austin Romine (R) C 9. Mike Tauchman (L) LF

Either way, we’re playing 4 lefties vs. a lefty... and out bottom three are lefties. Line up building is not easy, especially with injuries...

I did think about balancing the lineup by breaking up the lefties, but I really wanted Ford to start, and he and Tauchman hit lefties very well, also. Turns out I would have been closer to the actual lineup had I done so.

Interesting regarding lefties on lefties: Tauchman: .377/.466/.574/1.040 (1 homer)
Ford: .440/.500/1.320/1.820 (7 homers)

Since Romine bottomed our at .196 on June 15, he’s appeared in 29 games (25 starts) and has gone 31 for 91; .341/.371/.571 with 6 doubles and 5 HR. I don’t mind seeing him in the line up at all, especially with a guy like Anderson in the mound that he can punch a shot through a home in the infield against...

It’ll be interesting to see how this series plays out in Yankee Stadium so soon after the ugly results in Oakland... It'll be tough with CC and Happ both pitching in the series. Hopefully, they can turn their fortunes around. Happ did have a decent start last time that could have been good if it weren't for a bad call before he allowed a three run HR.

Not real happy with my teams this year but we'll see. Last year I won $1200 dollars from finishing first and second in my two leagues!
Do you play fantasy football?

No, I have a brother who does though. I agonize enough on Sunday! Any Saints on your teams?

I agree close guess on the lineup, Rizz. It would have been reasonable to expect Sanchez to start at catcher after the day off.

No, I have a brother who does though. I agonize enough on Sunday! Any Saints on your teams? I wanted Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas but wasn't able to snag either of them. I do have the best fantasy player Saquon Barkley on one of my teams because I bid through the roof for him. What do you think about the Saints chances this year? Is Brees getting too old? They were robbed last year by the refs of a Superbowl berth!
