I wanted Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas but wasn't able to snag either of them. I do have the best fantasy player Saquon Barkley on one of my teams because I bid through the roof for him. What do you think about the Saints chances this year? Is Brees getting too old? They were robbed last year by the refs of a Superbowl berth! Brees is only as old as his offensive line is healthy. Last season, the O-Line was really beaten up in the last third of the season. Even against the Rams and that awful no-call, Armstead (LT) was playing with one arm, Peat (LG) had a broken hand, Ramczyk (RT) had one arm in a sling after the previous playoff game, Warford (RG) had a bad knee, and Unger (C) retired after the season because his back was killing him just bending to snap the ball. Of all the playoff teams’ quarterbacks last season, the one with the least amount of time in the pocket was Drew Brees! He’s getting older, no doubt, but his falloff at the end of the season was due to the OL, not his birthday. He not as mobile as he was ten years ago, but he can still carve up even great defenses. If he wanted to and had a healthy front line, Brees might be the one quarterback that could throw on every single down, and still move the ball all day...

CC back doors Chapman with a slider for the K and the Oakland announcers call it a cutter... yeah. At 78 MPH, that’s CC’s cutter... He sends the slider in in a barge... WOOOOO-WOOOO.., Watch out for the buoys...

Good point. He was extremely accurate last year too. But more short passes than usual because he had less time. At least your team is a contender! My team, the G-Men, are a team in transition to put it mildly. Brees also threw 100-150 fewer passes last season. The running game was healthy and they often had big leads, where they were running time off the clock. Also, Ted Ginn, their deep threat, was hurt and missed a ton of time. They should be much better this season, especially if Sheldon Rankins (DT) comes back healthy by mid-season.
