If you don’t count Romine, Didi is our only regular or semi regular player with an OPS under 100. So we bat him third...Meanwhile, Tauchman is always 8th or 9th... |

Chris Herrman catching for the A’s reminded me of 60’s-70’s catcher Ed Herrman. So I checked and garnered the weird but meaningless fact that there have been 5 Herrman’s In MLB history and that all have either pitched or caught...
Sorry, I got excited and had to bore someone with the information. Ruthie is asleep, the cats are hiding and the dog didn’t care...

Then walking the back up catcher and Grossman to get to a guy with 30 HR's will piss off most mangers.

Looks like Boone is pissed at German. He should be. He walks the backup catcher and then a sloppy lazy delivery walked Grossman on a pitch he didn’t finish. |
