My guess is that they almost have to put him on the roster but as much as I admire CC I can't see how he could help the team.

I love CC. Nothing but respect for what he did for this franchise. Agreed. CC is the man.. I admit that as his manager, I’d have him on the roster. I’d speak to him first about wanting to maximize his effectiveness by utilizing him in LOOGY spots more than any thing else. Then, I’d hope he wouldn’t eat me and wash me down with a couple of cold ones... |

CC not looking so play-offish... Like I said yesterday, he is fine early. After 25 pitches, he should be batter to batter. That’s why I see him as an opener, rather than a starter. |
