Found these on my photobucket account... Mr.G! RIP! Anybody have alternatives to Photobucket? There's way too many ads. Found this gem too!! Jess was asking me about mrG the other night while we were at the game. I used to tell her stories about him. She wanted to know who on the new Yankees would be his favorite. I think Judge. Miss that guy...cant believe its been so long.

I came so close to getting a chance to meet up with John. We were starting to make plans when his health took a really bad turn, and the meeting which was supposed to be at the Stadium never came about. I was to take the train up from MD and get off at the ballpark. He was going to show me the sights...Great phone conversations though...and the mutual promise for us to tell the forum group of the others passing...whichever passed first...

Did anyone notice that Nathan Eovaldi pitched in the majors for the first time in two years following surgery? He threw six no-hit innings in only 70 pitches! He was on a pitch count and was pulled.

Yes, I saw our good friend Elvodia had a no hitter going! I would wish him the best but I think we play the Rays like 17 more times or something.

He's a really good athlete with quick feet and a great arm. What was interesting about that game as well was Vidal Nuno recorded the last three outs and Rob Refsnyder hit a three-run homer to lead the scoring. You can wear the jersey with pride!

I was truly happy when we acquired Eovaldi, but when he went down, I knew we had to let him run free...I thought we had found one of those diamond in the rough kind of players on the cheap. On the weeks on the cheap...or was that weaks on the cheep? Damn Karl. So much smarter than the rest of us that we couldn't understand 1/2 of what he mis-typed...

Remember that idiot on the A's.. Dallas Braden? The one that yelled at ARod for running across the mound... Well he's an announcer for the A's now and called out Evoldi for digging in his glove for pine tar... Live on the broadcast
