Yea, comments were taken down. They have a new post up explaining it. Just saw it. Makes sense. The quality of their collective writing is what makes it a great Yankee site so while I'm sure they might lose some traffic probably nothing for them to lose sleep over. I agree though. They have a strict no politics policy that was completely ignored and there's no way to police it. They would ban people and it's not too hard to figure out a way around that. Oh well. Time to move on.

I went to check the game recap at River Ave blues and saw the comment section was taken down. Did things get so bad that Axisa had to nix them? I can see that happening after reading what happened during the game. I've been such a bad fan lately. I don't watch the first couple innings and just check at bat updates and then after a few innings decide whether I wanna watch. Last night I couldn't watch lol. Yea, comments are down on every thread at RAB. I don't know whether it's technical difficulties or was done on purpose though I'd guess the first. Is Axisa the guy that used to steal Patrick's material about Yankee prospects?

Okay, here it is. There is something I've recently noticed that is driving me up a goddamn wall. It may have been going on for a long time, but in any case I've just noticed it. From the time TV was invented, the medium has used music to underscore certain scenes. There has been suspenseful music, for instance when some is about to happen. There has been funny music when someone did a pratfall, etc..
Recently I've noticed a trend, especially in crime dramas to play a constant soft musical score CONSTANTLY and NON-STOP during the entirety of the program. Since Ruthie watches a lot of TV, I'm often in another room and I can't here the dialogue, but I constantly hear this bah-bah...bah-bah-da-da...bah...bah-bah-bah-toot-root-a-toot...bah...bah...and it's driving me crazy! I know that Hawaii 5-0 is one of the shows that is doing it, and I think NCIS New Orleans is another...it seems there are several shows to me. And it is soooooooo annoying...

Isn't it bad enough that they are recreating old TV shows, like Hawaii 5-0, SWAT, and Magnum P.I. because they can't come up with anything new that's good?

That's yet another thing...I watched about ten minutes of the "new" Murphy Brown before I realized what an annoying turd that show was going to be...Even the Crocodile Hunter is back and he's dead...Without baseball, and for some reason I now find football more annoying than entertaining (I think it's the lack of good defense) I'm down to American Pickers or old episodes of Gunsmoke or Western Movies...Then of course there are some good shows on public TV that are interspersed with the "Will show more if you send us your money" commercials and the Discovery Channel. Speaking of Gunsmoke...It's amazing how many episodes Ken Curtis was on before they made the role of Festus Hagan for him...Often as a bad guy... And Doc...Milburn Stone was the grantor of a theater that bears his name back in Cecil County where I grew up. I never did find out what his connection was to the area that prompted that donation...

I should probably be embarrassed to type this, but we haven't experienced Netflix or Amazon Prime at all in our household. Perhaps that's because I haven't taken much interest in watching a lot of TV...I always feel like there is something else I should be doing...Even when I watch the Yankee games...
