I never heard of a satsuma until just this very minute. I looked them up and I see they’re one of several varieties that are classed as, or nicknamed as “mandarin oranges”. I find that sometimes when I buy mandarins they are absolutely delicious, and ptgervtimes they overly tart. I also find green oranges in the bag more often when I buy mandarins. I’ve been disappointed enough times that I usually pass on them and wait for the clementines. Perhaps now I can watch for the satsuma designation and give them a whirl. Ruthie took the bag away from me tonight... which is okay with me, because I’ll have more to enjoy the next couple days... I also bought some Honey Crisp apples. They’ve become my favorite apple, but the growers and therefore the grocers do over charge for them. The Wal Mart out here gets about $2.49 per pound for them. Back in the summer, our Farmers Market was selling them for $0.79 per pound. They were smaller apples and not as pretty, tending to be bruised quite a bit... but the flavor was fine... I won’t try to start any discussion on which Pop Tarts I brought home, promise... Blasted off season... Satsumas are probably related to mandarins, but they taste nothing like them. Satsumas are the easiest peeling citrus fruit and arguably the sweetest. They are difficult to find in stores outside of where they are grown. Louisiana Satsumas |

They sound great, but since I don’t like a humid climate, I’ll have to settle for cactus grown locally and imported clementines. I will keep my eyes open though..,You never know... In 2016, The Verge profiled the channel and Ryan's parents, who have shot and produced the account's frequently (nearly daily) released videos since Ryan ToysReview started in March 2015.

I just watched one of those commercials from an “ambulance chaser on TV. Damn, they can make being in a car wreck seem like such a fun and attractive way to make money...
