Tequila just whisperd in my ear that she and some of her wainged friends are about to offer Six Billion Pounds of Seeds for the Yanke4es and that I (Do Me) will be GM with Rizz & Kay as duel Managers and Inger as Head Cheerleader and in charge of IT. Now mind you just a rumor.
Better let Kaybli handle IT. Everything electronic that Inger touches asks for a credit card. Yeah. I pass on that position. I’ll take work from home fan…

We got sideswiped in the Hummer today. What are the odds that a deaf-mute person would hit us?
He got us in the front quarter panel and it knocked the pretty chrome grill off the front of the car. There was pretty hard impact with the front passenger tire/wheel, but the car drove fine afterward.
The guy that hit us was apologetic and wrote a note that said he was at fault and was sorry. When I started to photograph the front of the car he became agitated and was shaking his h as and waving his arms in denial of having caused the front end damage.
A few minutes later he left the scene before the state trooper arrived. Fortunately I had photographed his license plate and got his insurance policy number.
The office said he’d go find the guy’s house and probably write him a citation.
That’s what I get for leaving our quiet valley going into Pueblo to submit my taxes to our CPA…
Anyway… no injuries… no ticket for me. Just as I freed myself from the burden of tax preparation, I get to deal with an insurance company. Yikes…

Wishing you the best.

Revenge of The Twins for thier long list of failures? Mama Mia!…

Tequila says if you help in collecting the debt to fix your Hummer that she has friends in your area Hoping you both are ok. Thanks, Tequila. Would you mind asking “Gertrude” the duck to stop shitting on my windshield? I know it’s nothing personal, she just likes the color blue, but there are a lot of blue vehicles to choose from…

There are 55 MLB players, dead and alive, celebrating their birthdays today. I noted the the one with the highest WAR (106.6) is the HOF, Greg Maddux.
Number two in WAR (79.6) is Pete Rose, denied the HOF by his own greed and ego.
So we have “The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly”. I would cast Rose in the dual role as the “bad”, and the “ugly”. Little Charlie Hustle was born in 1941. He’s getting long in the tooth. I suppose that makes me at least a medium long in the tooth…

We disagree on Rose, but I must recognize that you scored the point. 😂

No shortage of space in that little pad, is there? Are you familiar with the town of Cortez near Anna Maria? We visited old friends there last year-- quiet, overlooked fishing village-- don't know how it's escaped over-development. They took us to a get-together on Anna Maria, and that's some serious real estate. But we really liked Sarasota-- it wouldn't be too burdensome having a place there. And the PT Barnum place is a hoot!

And the PT Barnum place is a hoot! I had lunch in Cortez a couple times when I was there in Feb. It's a great spot. My kind of town. Laid back, quiet and really good places to eat and drink. You can't go wrong with Tiki bars. Also, it's right across the bridge from some of the best beaches in the world. Gloria and I came close to buying a mobile home in Cortez a few years ago. I wish we had gone through with it. I like Sarasota too. When I was growing up, it was always a little more upscale than Bradenton and had a lot more to offer.

Joe “Ducky” Medwick had exactly 3,000 total bases in his first ten seasons. He batted .300 or better (sometimes much better) in each of his first eleven seasons. His big RBI/MVP year came in 1937. Dang. Those 30’s were a great time to put up some offensive numbers, especially RBI… www.baseball-reference.com/players/m/medwijo01.shtml
