Addendum: Reminder to Chi “It is the nature of what we do.“ You will win a lot of discussions with this point. It may lose you a few friends, but those with wisdom will understand. The owners will love you… It's strange where I work. No one is disrespectful but they're not overly friendly either, I only need one hand to count how many people there I would consider a friend. I’d keep if that way. So much less drama. I think the bean counters get avoided sometimes because people fear the numbers and what they may reflect upon their department or even their own necessity… |

Oh, no one here of course 😗 😚… But CPA types do have to know the number of beans within their auspices at any point the owners may wish to know. Personally, I told our guy that anytime he wanted to use my department as an example, just do it… |

Well, I thought that Paul Skenes would take the ball on three days rest in game three of the College World Series. Not only has Skenes not started, but now I am wondering if he will pitch in the finals at all. Still early in the game, but the coach of the Tigers said that the main focus was keeping Paul Skenes healthy. I just do not get it. There is no doubt that Skenes wanted the ball in this winner take all final game. Three days rest for a guy who just turned 21 in May? In 1974, Nolan Ryan threw 235 pitches in a game against the Red Sox. He then started another game three days later, pitching 6 scoreless innings. But the lack of rest tore a ligament in his arm nineteen years later on September 22, 1993.  Congrats rizzuto on the LSU win! Congrats to the LSU Tigers. They earned it. Gave Florida the beatdown that Florida gave them last night. Don't know I've seen a turnaround quite like that. |

Congrats to the LSU Tigers. They earned it. Gave Florida the beatdown that Florida gave them last night. Don't know I've seen a turnaround quite like that. Congrats, rizz! How's the air quality in Illinois chiyankee ?
The air here starting to get really bad yesterday and it's still that way with a lingering smoky fog. It's supposed to move southwest by the end of today, but for people with respiratory issues and asthma, like me, it been tough. I've been staying inside as much as possible. |
