No ice cream in decades? Are you really living pipps?
Even with my diet, I always make sure to have an order of ice cream once a week!
I love ice cream, but I try to limit my many food vices. Once you get out of the habit, it isn't difficult. Either ice cream or bourbon had to go. You made the right choice, pipps.

Yeah Matt, a dish of tutti-frutti never gave quite the same philosophical reflectiveness as a glass of Woodford Reserve.

I should have taken that into account.

Here's an example of how screwed up our health care system is. I went to pick up a prescription at the pharmacy and it came to $775.00 through Medicare. The pharmacy has their own lower cost deal and it was $16.00.

The pharmacy has their own lower cost deal and it was $16.00. It’s quite amazing. When Ruth and I were both on Trulicity it was $40 per 90 day supply when we first started taking it. Then it jumped up to $779 each. I called the manufacturer and they told me that we were getting it for 25% of the retail price, and they couldn’t help me. They told me to ask our doctor for Abacose, which as an entirely different medicine with a completely different delivery system. It was $55 for a 90-day supply, but it did the job, as our blood sugar was controlled. The doctor didn’t want to switch it, so I had to tell her that at $779 each every ninety days we were not going to be able to take it. Now I’m on Tresiba, which is delivered similarly to Trulicity and it’s $105 for a 90-day supply…

A friend Ray needed a specific inhaler, which was several hundred bucks for a reliable supply. His friend is a doctor from India who sent him a boat load of them through the mail. When Ray asked Dr. Ash, how much he owed him, Ash said not to worry about it they were only about a nickel each in India!

I pay $150 for a three month supply of my Advair asthma inhalers but the pharmacy charges my insurance company $900+. And they pay it, minus the $150 co-pay that I have to shell out.
