This is hilarious. Ken Kaiser at his best. Good old hard ball like it used to be before everybody got their feelings hurt… Spikes high and arguments in your face…

So, you lead the major leagues in home runs and runs batted in with 53 and 134 for your first place team. You play gold glove caliber defense. Yet, you not only do not win the MVP of the National League, you're not even the MVP on your own team! Matt Olson has a .990 OPS and 161 OPS+ and a 7.0 WAR. Teammate Ronald Acuna, Jr is the first player ever with 40 home runs and 70 steals in the history of MLB, with an 8.2 WAR, and a line of .336/.414/.596 with a 1.010 OPS and a 168 OPS+. Talk about bad timing! By the way, Acuna is only 25 years old.

Amazing balance and it's easy to see why they are the heavy favorite to win it all.

Exhibit one thousand on why Curt Schilling is a POS:
Schilling didn't even give a shout out to Heinz Ketchup when he produced his "bloody" sock. The guy is a doofus. On the other hand, Varitek's wife is beautiful! A bit of a potty mouth, but beautiful.

With so many of us struggling to sleep, I think we should find this interesting :
Randy Gardner (born c. 1948) set the record for the longest a human has gone without sleep. In 1964, Gardner, a high school student in San Diego, California, stayed awake for 11 days and 25 minutes (264.4 hours.) This period of sleeplessness broke the previous record of 260 hours held by DJ Tom Rounds in Honolulu” - Wikipedia
Sounds fine, right? Well actually, it’s rather not.
When Gardner attempted the record for longest period of time without sleep, it provided valuable information for psychologists studying sleep psychology, and continues to do so for this day. The affective, behavioural, cognitive, and somatic changes on his body were all recorded for the study.
As it turns out, not sleeping can seriously stuff you up.
Gardner experienced hallucinations, paranoia, and serious problems with concentration and memory. And that’s the best of it.
Towards the end of the study, he was asked to count backwards from 100. He stopped at 65. When asked why, he said he forgot what he was doing.
Gardner was considered an outlier for the long-term effects on his body. He claimed he ‘wanted to prove that not sleeping had no effect on his body’, which he stated in a press conference on the 11th day without slurring or stuttering at all.
NOTE: The Guinness Book of World Records is no longer accepting challenges to this record because they feel it to be too dangerous.
