Captain Queeg's strawberries? One of my all-0time favorite movies. Great performances by Bogie, Jose Ferrer, and EG Marshall should have won the Oscar for his facial expressions in this scene alone! |

Lots of character actors did great work too -- Lee Marvin, Claude Akins, Tom Tully -- even Robert Francis, who had a very short career, and May Wynn as May Wynn -- never got that one. It all came together under Edward Dymytryk. |
