Prediction: The team with the best hitting, pitching, and home field advantage throughout the postseason belongs to the Houston Astros, who also were the hottest team in MLB down the stretch. To me, they are the favorites to win it all. The only team capable of beating them in a seven game series is the New York Yankees; however, the Yankees’ uneven play of late shall prevent them from moving past the Twins. But, I sure hope I’m wrong... The uneven play is from relying on backup pitchers and hitters that won't have any importance to the post season roster.

I had to order the MLBNetwork just to watch the freakin game 1. Which I used to get free. [img alt=" " src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/gszgVuvxUtZEFrgJSkis.gif" style="max-width:100%;" class="smile"] Join the screwy cable club... 🤪 For f#%!'s sake. I just learned MLB Network will be giving a free preview October 1st-11th anyway! After I had ordered a whole new package to my Verizon FIOS to get it to watch the games! What a moron I am.

I guess I deserve this for making fun of inger and rizzuto's cable problems. Karma strikes again!

I'm very interested to see how Boone manages the pitching and what decisions he makes on the lineup. He has some interesting roster decisions to make as well as some decisions about lineup that didn't matter as much in the regular season but do matter now when you're playing for your season. Things like Voit vs. Ford, Didi batting so high in the lineup, who fills out the back of the bullpen, etc.

1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 1B 2. Aaron Judge (R) RF 3. Brett Gardner (L) CF 4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) LF 5. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B 6. Edwin Encarnacion (R) DH 7. Gary Sanchez (R) C 8. Didi Gregorius (L) SS 9. Gio Urshela (R) 3B
or if Encarnacion is not ready
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 1B 2. Aaron Judge (R) RF 3. Brett Gardner (L) CF 4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) LF 5. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B 6. Mike Ford (L) DH 7. Gary Sanchez (R) C 8. Didi Gregorius (L) SS 9. Gio Urshela (R) 3B
Post your lineup!

Pretty good looking lineups, though I’d switch Torres and Gardner vs. LHP...

DJ - 1B Judge - RF Torres - 3B Stanton - LF Edwin - DH Sanchez - C Gardner - CF Gio - 3B DiDi - SS Aaron Boone says too many righties at the top of the lineup!
And of course you have two 3rd basemen.
Otherwise, a powerful lineup indeed!

I don't care about splitting the lefties and right handed hitters. Our best hitters are mostly right handed, so they should be at the top of the lineup. Then again, Boone doesn't care why I think!

I thought the Nats had a two run HR but the ball isn't carrying to LF as well as it is to RF.
